Full coeval leather, with gilt episcopal coat of arms and friezes at both boards; folio, cm 43,5 x 29,5; pp. (2b) (8) 140 (2b); traces of use at the binding, otherwise a very good copy, extremely clean, printed on strong paper. Copper engraved frontispiece, subheading printed in red, title page with copper engraved illustration, as well as all the text, in red and black, framed in double fillet, engraved illustrated initials and endings, 14 full page copper engravings by nun Isabella Piccini, end papers painted with floral motifs.
