Opera, che dà notitia della Genealogia delle loro Famiglie, dell’ampiezza, e governo de’ loro Stati, della loro Religione, Entrate, Forze, Titoli, pretensioni, arme con l’Origine storica de’ pezzi, e quarti, che le compongono, e del luogo della loro residenza. Con un catalogo degli Autori, che meglio ne hanno scritto. Il tutto fino al tempo presente. Tomo primo [- quarto]. Edizione seconda riveduta, e corretta – 1729 / 1728. Rustic marbled cardboard with double leather label applied to the spine to compose the title; small octavo, cm 17,3; 4 volumes; pp. (2b) (16) 444 (2b), (2b) (4) 596 (i.e. 595) (2b), (4) 436 (i.e. 430 due to a misnumbering at pp.289, erroneously numbered as 281 but complete text) (4b), (2b) (4) 312 (28) (2b); a few tears at the bindings, internar minor foxing here and there, old restores at the upper corner of the pp. 541-544 of the second tome and at pp. 269-270 of the fourth tome, on the whole a good copy. Little floral mark at the title pages, dozens of coats of arms and emblems, one for almost every chapter, in woodcut. Second amended Italian edition of this work, generally attributed to Ferdinand Ludwig von Bressler und Aschenburg, mostly focusing on the Western Europe (Germany, Holland, Italy and France amongst the others) but with some informations on Africa and Asia as well. Pretty scarce edition to be found in the market, often offered incomplete
