(incomplete work); leaves (199); very slight traces of use to the binding, some pages with slight blooms, overall an excellent example. Printed on crisp paper with wide margins; 60 full page copper engraved plates and 33 portraits. A volume (of two originals) describing the works in the Accademia Veneta delle Belle Arti of Venice. This volume presents 60, beautifully preserved, copper plates (engraved by Comirato, Zuliani, Viviani among the others) reproducing those paintings, as well as 33 portraits by as many artists.
