BREMOND Antonin – Processionarium Sacri Ordinis Praedicatorum Auctoritate Apostolica Approbatum, et reverendissimi patris Fr. Antonini Bremond ejusdem ordinis magistri generalis jussu editum – 1754. Romae ex Typographia Hieronymi Mainardi. Coeval full leather with frame hot-stamped on the boards, handwritten titles on a paper label applied to the spine, raised bands, traces of ancient hooks, gilt fore-edges; octavo, 18 cm; pp. (8) 512; three old pieces of paper, used as bookmarks, applied to the pages, very rare and irrelevant ink spots, overall an excellent copy. Traces of ancient ownership stamps on the endpaper; full page copper engraved frontispiece by Carlo Grandi; red and black title page with woodcut typographic brand; two initials and woodcut end caps; red and black text with musical notations; some typographical errors in numbering but complete text. Work of the Master of the Order of Preachers of Toulouse Antonin Brémond, this Dominican processionary (processional) is of a certain rarity and certainly excellent workmanship.
