One of the scarcest and most important works on agriculture in Ferrara, written by a vicar from Tresigallo, here in its real first edition: “Il vero campagnuolo ferrarese”, amended after 14 years in the new edition named “L’Agricoltor Ferrarese“. The book itself is rather interesting, especially in regards to some very particular recipes, such as the “salama da sugo”; this aside, the Author speaks about a lot of different topics, such as: agriculture, countryside roads, plowing, pulping mills, animals and their illnesses, etc. At the end of the volume, we also find Francesco Maria Nigrisoli’s “Parere… intorno alla corrente Epidemia degli Animali Bovini”, a short essay on cow’s diseases
